Joint controllers’ responsibilities

The main organizer of the platform takes the primary responsibility of controlling and processing the data. The other controllers are considered as co-organizers. They are responsible for processing and updating the personal data necessary for managing and organizing the platform.

Purposes of processing personal data

Event management

We will collect and process data in order to organize and manage the Ice Hot Nordic Dance platforms. This includes processing data to evaluate applicants at their request and providing a service to participants and performers before, during and after the platform. When personal data is not processed in relation to a contract, it is based on our legitimate interest to organize an event. Personal data processed includes applicant and participant details and contact information sent to us via forms on our website or other forms and other sources, including other organizers. Fields marked as required are necessary to provide a service to you.

A selected jury will participate in evaluating applications and applicants. 

We retain the necessary data for the duration required to organize, develop and evaluate the platforms or to provide services to participants, performers and applicants.

Newsletter

We will send out a newsletter to you if you have subscribed to it or if we have obtained your contact information in the context of an event and you have not objected to it. You may at any time revoke your consent or object to processing by unsubscribing from the newsletter. 

Analytics

We collect analytics data from the use of our website using Google Analytics service. Analytics data contains browsing information such as which page you have visited. Analytics data is only collected after you have consented to it in our cookie notice. To withdraw your consent, visit our cookie policy.

We use the collected data to understand how our website is used and to improve our website based on our legitimate interest to improve our service.

We retain the data for 26 months since your last visit.

Transfers of data

We may disclose personal data to third party providers of services and tools who help us to provide our services, such as the newsletter mailer. Due to the technical implementation of the processing of the data, some of the data may physically reside on the servers or equipment belonging to external contractors, and these data are processed via a technical connection. Personal data are not transferred outside Europe unless this is technically necessary in order to implement the service. In such event the joint controllers ensure the sufficient level of data protection in the manner provided for in the legislation.
