"fifty ways to leave a shape" is a personal solo about the internal processing of having to say goodbye to a body part after more than thirty years as a dance artist. It is a tribute to worn out hips, a welcoming of two brand new joints, and a reset in order to identify new opportunities. On her sensory journey, Siri Jøntvedt explores the realisation that everything changes and the search for new physical meaning. Through various expressions of song, film, text and dance, the audience can join this poetic and personal journey seeing traces of what she has been through and what is to come.
