Inés Belli (NO)

| Friday 1 July
At 18:30 – 19:45
Dance Theatre Hurjaruuth

Metasexy negotiates expectations and norms, desires and fantasies surrounding the female figure in western popular culture, and the possibilities for other ways of performing and understanding femininity and sexualised aesthetics. In the negotiations between the body and gender, objectification and subjectivity, the performers' experience and the spectator's gaze provide a space for the possibility of other forms of awareness that offer room for ambivalence and ambiguity in our encounter with ideas of femininity and sexualised aesthetics.
