Convoi Exceptionnel (DK)

In "The Weather Report", the audience experiences the world through the perspective of the pilot and the patient. These are two very different perspectives that require navigating the world in their own individual ways, yet they are alike. The Weather Report is a thematic exploration of weather as a phenomenon, informed by Jon R. Skulberg’s personal experience with bipolar disorder. As an allegory of our human striving for stability and predictability, the performance examines our attempt to deal with disturbance and turbulence.

Convoi Exceptionnel, whose name means “special transport and wide cargo,” is a reminder to be aware of special weight and contents. The company works cross-aesthetically and creates original works in various formats, managing, producing and developing Jon R. Skulberg’s creationas and collaborative relationships. With his rigorous scenographic practice and sharp dramaturgical eye, Skulberg challenges scenic formats and uses the performing arts as a platform to re-interpret the world.
