"Ball" is performed by a diverse group of amateur and professional dancers: a break dancer from the 1980’s, a retired ballerina, a ballroom star, a Freestyle legend, a Bollywood dancer, a street dancer, Iceland Dance Company dancers, a go-go dancer, a dance student and a modern dancer who loves to dance to Bob Marley. "Ball" makes space for dance lovers of many ages, backgrounds, experiences and body types to take to the stage together. Everybody brings a dance and finds a way of sharing it with the group. At the same time, just like in a ball, it is not only about virtuosity or the brilliance of each dance, it is also about the experience that comes from dancing these dances together.
