The SoundA sonic travel through frequency and movement
Thursday December 13th
10:00 – 12:00
Bíó Paradís, Hverfisgata 54
For this performance we have invited Sound to take us on a journey and we welcome you to take part in this experience.
This sonic dance oscillates between the audible and the visual world. It engages in the notion of sound and treats it as a capacity and material to build sensorial landscapes compound with sound and movement to inhabit, care for and operate within. Thinking of sound as an altogether different kind of consciousness that we can learn from if we spend time with it and listen.
Linda Blomqvist, born in Stockholm 1985, is a choreographer and dancer. Her work aims to expand the notion of choreography with a focus on alternative modes of production, process and practice from a speculative viewpoint taking various forms and expressions.
Linda studied dance at The Royal Swedish Ballet School 1995-2004 and at P.A.R.T.S 2008-2010. She has been active as a performer in various productions by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Mårten Spångberg amongst others.
She’s made several stage productions and founded the performing arts platform Indigo Dance together with Adriano Wilfert Jensen and Emma Daniel.
