REGISTRATION FOR ICE HOT REYKJAVÍK

Below you find the link to the registration form which we kindly ask you to fill out and take time to answer all questions — but please read this important information first!

WHO CAN REGISTER?

ICE HOT Nordic Dance Platform gives priority to international dance experts who have the capacity to present, book, host, and commission, collaborate with or support Nordic dance artists and performances. Tickets for performances WILL BE prioritized for dance presenters (venues, festivals and residencies) and funders. We can’t guarantee that all those who register will get tickets to the performances. Some venues we will use, have a low seat capacity. There will be a seminar program, discussions, workshops, morning classes for dancers and other activities during the platform as well, and of course social events and networking possibilities with other professionals from around the globe.

Any dance professional giving accurate information in the below form, can register and will be accepted as a general condition. ICE HOT Reykjavík team reserves the right to deny registration. If that right is exercised, the person in question will be notified.

ARTISTIC PROGRAM

REGISTRATION FOR PERFORMANCES AND WORKSHOPS

Registration for performances, seminars, workshops, classes and other events will be launched in September and as stated above, presenters will have priority to performance tickets. Registration for seminars and workshops will be launched at the same time and will be on a first come — first served basis.

DELEGATE FEE

The fee to be a registered delegate and take part in ICE HOT Reykjavík is 180 euros. The fee will be payable before delegates are able register for performances and other events.

PARTNER HOTELS / ACCOMMODATION

ICE HOT Reykjavík has partnered with Islands Hotels https://www.islandshotel.is/ and has reserved discount rooms at 4 hotels in central Reykjavík for ICE HOT participants.

Once you have submitted your registration, you will receive information on how to book a hotel room.

We warmly recommend you to book already now! In case you prefer to book other accommodation then at our partner hotels we still advice you to make booking sooner than later as Reykjavík is under high demand all year round and the Christmas season has become a favorite time to visit the city.

VENUE AND HOTEL LOCATIONS

The majority of venues and other locations hosting the ICE HOT Reykjavík events, are within the downtown area of Reykjavík. All Island Hotels are within the walking distance of downtown Reykjavík.

The Opening event on December 12th will take place at the Reykjavík City Theatre , which is 3,5 km from downtown.

Each morning and afternoon, the following 3 days, December 13th — 15th, the Pitch sessions we call MORE MORE MORE and a versatile seminar program, will be hosted at the Reykjavík Art Cinema Bio Paradise, in the heart of the city.

During the daytime other venue locations will be used which delegates will travel to either via public transportation or special ICE HOT busses. This transport will be organized, don’t worry! We will visit both theatre and site specific locations.

December 12th — 15th all evening performances and late night events will take place in downtown Reykjavík area.

DATES AND TIMES IN SHORT

  • The formal program of ICE HOT Reykjavík will start at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 12th
  • If you are arriving on the 12th we advise you to book your flight so you have landed at Keflavik International airport at the latest at 4 pm that day. You do not want to miss the opening!
  • From December 11th — 12th we offer you to join our pre-trip to wonderful Snæfellsnes — check it out here!
  • December 13th — 15th will have a full program of events from morning to midnight.
  • We will not program events on Sunday, December 16th so you are free to fly home that day!
