LENE BANG AND MAGNUS NORDBERG

A MATTER OF TASTE?

Friday December 14th
12:00 – 13:30
Bíó Paradís, Hverfisgata 54

What is a “good” piece of work? Is there an immediate way to see if a piece will work in a certain context or festival and what are the crucial elements in choice-making of an artistic program?
Is there a way to analyze or recognize ‘quality’ in dance work that one is able to formulate, or is it something that can’t be pinpointed?

In this session, Lene Bang and Magnus Nordberg, both independent agent/producers in the Nordic dance field, interview a group of presenters who are visiting ICE HOT on their perspectives and experiences of curation. The session ends with a discussion with the audience.
